Folk duo, Freight Train Foxes are built around the talents of Brisbane songwriters, Pat Kenny and Kelsey Berrington. Armed with the sonic influences of Passenger and The Lumineers, the pair wield their unique brand of suburban acoustic folk, which manages to wound and soothe simultaneously. After releasing four EPs in four years, the award-winning Folk duo are set to bring their captivating show to Newcastle for the first time. After impressing audiences with stirring performances at BIGSOUND and Woodford Folk Festival, Freight Train Foxes are touring in support of their upcoming single, ‘Chasing Your Love’. The Brisbane duo will be joined on the night by special guests Lucy Crane and Rod Coote.
